Berlin, Germany.

Germany was one of our top countries to visit.
And not just because no one mispronounced our
last name there. ha!

We took an alternative walking tour through Berlin, to
see the artsy side of the city.

The tour started at the T.V. tower (which we
almost didn't see)

Some of the graffiti that we saw.

Where the Berlin wall once stood.

The East side gallery. The longest remains of the wall.

Triumphal Arch.

Bratwurst break.

We went to holocaust museum, and then to
Sachsenhausen, a concentration camp.
Both were a very sobering experience, and opened our eyes
on a whole new level to all to all the suffering that took place.

What the perimeter of the concentration camp looked like. The death zone.

What is left of the gas chamber's and "killing room"

The memorial that was built at the camp to honor the
victims and survivors of Sachsenhausen.
